Let's turn laughter into a force for good! This event will feature the funniest man you have ever heard - Al Madrigal from the renowned Daily Show. Al is an American comedian, writer, actor and producer. He is a co-founder of the All Things Comedy podcast network, alongside Bill Burr. Enjoy a night out while being a force for good at the same time.
Proceeds from this hilarious outing will provide services for children 0-5, affordable housing for Detroiters, behavioral health services to those struggling, and workforce development for gainful employment. This funny a$$ fundraiser will change nearly 25,000 lives across Metro Detroit. But, we can only do it with your support. About our Headliner: Al Madrigal
Multi-hyphenate writer, stand-up, producer and actor, AL MADRIGAL is one of today’s most successful comedians, credited with breaking down barriers for Latinos in the industry and crossing over to become a quadruple threat and entrepreneur.
Madrigal’s film credits include his standout role as Dan the assistant basketball coach in Warner Bros 2020 film, THE WAY BACK, with co-star Ben Affleck. This year, Al re-teamed with Affleck in the hit Amazon film, AIR, alongside Matt Damon. Madrigal can also be seen in NIGHT SCHOOL, with Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish, Sony’s MORBIUS, with Jared Leto, and Disney’s HOLLYWOOD STARGIRL opposite Judy Greer, Uma Thurman and Grace VanderWaal.
On television, Madrigal is best known as the Senior Latino Correspondent on THE DAILY SHOW WITH JON STEWART, and his work as a series regular and writer on Showtime’s I’M DYING UP HERE. Al can currently be seen opposite George Lopez in the NBC series, LOPEZ VS LOPEZ. His additional television credits include, Apple TV+'s PHYSICAL and CBS's BROKE, for which he served as a writer, actor, and producer.

Our Opener: Tam White
Tam White is a stand-up comic and improv actor from Detroit, MI. She is currently a resident cast member at the Go Comedy Improv Theatre in Ferndale and creator/host of the improv game shows 'Hip-Prov' and ‘Soul-Prov’, seen in clubs and theatres throughout Michigan .She recently became board member and Talent Director of the Detroit Women of Comedy Festival and was mentioned in Hour Detroit Magazine as one of Mark Ridley's favorite local comics. She has performed at Royal Oak Music Theatre,Majestic Theatre, Detroit House of Comedy, One Night Stan’s Comedy Club, Michigan Theatre and other venues. She has recently worked with Pauly Shore , SNL’s Chris Kattan and Tim Meadows , BET’s Ms. Pat, Pinky Patel and many more. When she’s not teaching rhyming improv workshops or performing stand-up, she’s performing with the women in her all-female improv troupe ‘And Still I Improvise’.
