Build Your Future With YouthBuild

If you’re 18-24, a resident of Detroit, Highland Park or Hamtramck, and have an interest in the building trades, then you need YouthBuild! The program is free.

Our next cohort will start April 12 and will be a mixture of virtual and in-person training. Each student will be provided a loaner laptop for the program.

With YouthBuild, you’ll:

• Receive GED Prep training
• Receive certifications in MIOSHA, First AID, MC3, and Work Keys to prepare you for a career skilled trades
• Rehab a home!!!
• Receive incentives while you train
• Be a part of a student government and undergo leadership training
• Receive job internships and placement opportunities

YouthBuild is a 10-week program. No High School Diploma or GED is required to enroll. All you need is a strong work ethic and an interest in learning skills that can build into a well-paying career.
