Sewing instructor Rowena Palackdharry shows students how to insert a pocket.
The ninth cohort of our free sewing class for residents began this week. This class is for participants who already know how to operate a sewing machine and who want to continue to build their skills. It’s taught by Rowena Palackdharry. The class meets for two hours on Wednesday mornings in the gallery space of our Whitdel apartment building. To learn more about this program, contact Mayte at mtpenman@swsol.org or 313-297-1341.
