Piquette Square for Veterans 10-year anniversary!

July 6th, 2020
In June of 2010, the first group of residents at Piquette Square for Veterans received an orientation before signing their leases. Paul McNeil (standing and pointing) served as property manager at Piquette Square from the beginning until retiring in 2015.

It was 10 years ago this summer that the first veterans moved into Piquette Square, which provides housing and support services to 150 formerly homeless veterans so they can rebuild their lives.

Piquette Square has 150 one-bedroom apartments, common spaces, a computer lab, a library, and a spacious park with community gardens and recreational opportunities. Piquette Square is one of the largest facilities of its kind in the country, and is recognized for its pivotal role in the effort to end veteran homelessness in our community.

To mark this special anniversary, we’ve posted a photo essay on Facebook of some of highlights of the last ten years at Piquette Square.
