It was 10 years ago this summer that the first veterans moved into Piquette Square, which provides housing and support services to 150 formerly homeless veterans so they can rebuild their lives.
Piquette Square has 150 one-bedroom apartments, common spaces, a computer lab, a library, and a spacious park with community gardens and recreational opportunities. Piquette Square is one of the largest facilities of its kind in the country, and is recognized for its pivotal role in the effort to end veteran homelessness in our community.
To mark this special anniversary, we’ve posted a photo essay on Facebook of some of highlights of the last ten years at Piquette Square.
