Neighborhood Beautification Day on Saturday, June 2 drew more than 200 volunteers who improved a dozen sites in southwest Detroit.

The volunteers worked in teams to install and refresh flower beds and community gardens, weed and mulch, and remove overgrown brush and debris. This was the 12th consecutive year for the annual event. Thank you to all the volunteers for making the event another great success!
