The annual holiday party for our Supportive Housing program drew about 90 families and individuals who were once homeless, but who are now housed and receive support services they need because of the program.
The festive event took place at Local 22 UAW Hall in southwest Detroit on Friday, December 7. It was organized by our Supportive Housing staff and supporters of the program.
Everyone who attended enjoyed a hot and delicious full-course lunch served by the Supportive Housing staff and volunteers. In addition, clients received gift packages of household and other useful items.
Our Supportive Housing programs operates out of our Housing Resource Center.
We thank area landlords and the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Fraternity Secular Franciscan Order for sponsoring this event.
We also thank DJ Joey A for providing the music at the party.
