Black women have the highest student loan debt of any racial or ethnic group, according to a recent study. Detroit Free Press columnist Susan Tompor reports on the financial challenges facing black women in metro Detroit who illustrate this disturbing trend. One of the women profiled is Kimberly Johnson. Kimberly is receiving financial coaching at Southwest Solutions to help her manage her budget and expenses.
