7 Action News story on ending veteran homelessness features Piquette Square

December 3rd, 2019

7 Action News did a story about the Quicken Loans campaign to end veteran homeless. Laura Grannemann, Vice President of Quicken Loans Community Fund, and Candace Morgan, Community Solutions’ Systems Transformation Advisor for Detroit, were interviewed.

The story was shot at our Piquette Square for Veterans, which is recognized as a national model of providing housing and support services to help formerly homeless veterans rebuild their lives.

The recent Quicken national ad campaign features a veteran, Taz, who gained housing and employment through our Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program.
