At TechTown this week, knitters and crocheters got together to create squares that will then be assembled into blankets, which will then be given to other individuals in the community to provide needed warmth and comfort. The blankets are particularly comforting since they are created through the combined efforts of so many caring individuals. The community-based blanket-making project is called “Stitches of Love,” now in its second year. This year, Stitches of Love has an ambitious goal of creating 40 blankets.
