We host one fundraiser a year called Solutions at Sunrise. This one-hour breakfast event is unlike any fundraising event you’ve ever attended. Built around the stories of people we’ve helped, Solutions at Sunrise offers a great way to get a vivid, insider’s look into the programming of one of Detroit’s most effective organizations. It is designed to introduce new friends to the work of the agency, while also inviting you to support the work we do through donations and other opportunities.

More than 920 people attended last year’s Solutions at Sunrise at the MGM Grand Detroit.
The hour-long, breakfast fundraising event featured two new short films, two speeches by individuals served by Southwest Solutions’ programs, and a keynote address by the agency’s president, John Van Camp.
Many attendees have written to express their appreciation for the event. Among the comments:

Solutions at Sunrise could not happen without our Table Captains, who generously volunteer their time, and invite friends, family and acquaintances to the event so they can learn more about the work we do.
