Home Depot volunteers help refurbish Piquette Square for Veterans

April 26th, 2018
Almost 80 Home Depot volunteers worked at Piquette Square for Veterans.

Almost 80 volunteers from The Home Depot worked at our Piquette Square for Veterans today and made significant upgrades to the facility in Detroit that’s home to 150 formerly homeless veterans.

The volunteers installed new flooring in the computer lab, landscaped and mulched the grounds, painted common areas and apartments, and installed new appliances in the kitchen. The work at Piquette Square is part of ongoing efforts by The Home Depot and its Foundation to improve the homes and lives of military veterans and their families.

It continues the company’s long relationship with Piquette Square. Thank you Home Depot and all the volunteers for enhancing the quality of life for the veterans at Piquette Square and across the country!
