Cornerstone Youth Visit Michigan Humane Society

August 14th, 2017

Earlier this year, Cornerstone’s Youth Advisory Council identified animal welfare as an issue they care about and wanted to address. They created kitty forts, dog and cat bandannas, stress-relief toys, and catnip toys to give to rescued animals awaiting adoption. The group visited the Michigan Humane Society’s Detroit Adoption Center to deliver the toys and tour the facility. Cornerstone serves young people in systems of care and helps them transition to adulthood.
