Holiday Wish List 2011

Our Holiday Wish List effort brings holiday cheer to children, families and individuals in several of our programs. Over the past four years, hundreds of needy families have been helped by our generous supporters at holiday time.

We are seeking holiday items for those served in these programs:

  • Go-Getters Homeless Drop-In Center, which serves adults with severe mental illness by providing access to counseling and housing, hot meals and a shower, socialization and advocacy
  • Piquette Square for Veterans, which provides housing and support services to formerly homeless veterans
  • Child, Youth and Family Services, which provides mental health counseling for children and their families
  • Community Living Services, which helps mental health consumers transition from adult foster care homes into independent living
  • Housing Resource Center, which helps homeless persons receive housing and support services to ensure continued tenancy and recovery from mental illness
  • Early Childhood & Family Literacy, which helps children and their parents improve their reading, writing and language skills so that children can be successful in school
  • Adult Outpatient Services, which provides outpatient programs that help high-risk mentally ill adults manage daily living
  • Center for Working Families, which helps low-income families reach financial stability, access income supports, develop educational and employment opportunities, build wealth, and move up the economic ladder.
To learn how you can help, please email Mary Madigan, Fund Development Manager, or call her at 313-297-1371.
